I give myself to every painting. What part? I never know until I’m finished. Sometimes, I’m the cat and my dog Lucky is, well, the dog. Sometimes, I’m a mermaid hugging the moon. Sometimes, I paint where I’d like to go and other times, where I’m coming from. The stars, they’re memories, they’re my family, they’re the little specks of light whenever I close my eyes, somehow still guiding me. There are winding roads and stairwells and corridors and fireplaces and shadows and ghosts (which was almost the name of my dog) and windows and reflections and honestly, I don’t quite know why…yet. Maybe that’s why I keep painting. I may be giving myself away, little parts of me, but only to get something in return. Your business. Get in touch to inquire about available works. 💋
